Wendy was raised in western Canada,and been involved in the arts from a very early age.

She worked in many galleries in Calgary in her early years and was fortunate to know many of the artists at that time, ie A.C Leighton and Barbara,Duncan Crockford, Roland Gissing.

After raising two sons in Calgary ,she spent 15 years with her partner

in construction in Alberta and B.C.

In 2010 ,Wendy ,George ,And their two Shitzus sold everything and moved to Mahone Bay Nova Scotia.

They operate theAmber Rose Inn & Gallery.

Wendy loves the contact with people from all over the world and her gallery features professional artists from Nova Scotia.
